Our neighbor was kind enough to give me a bouquet of lilacs which I arranged in my favorite cobalt blue vase. It seemed appropriate to pair these flowers with the Desert Rose dishes and some stemware. This piece is 12 x 12" - oil on on canvas panel.

Absolutely submlime, Kay!! It's wonderful to see this grand avenue your work has taken since we last crossed paths @ UW Atmospheric Sciences. All the best, Brad Smull
Thanks, Brad. I hope all is going well for you. Atmos Sci was quite a few years ago -- but good memories.
Hi Kay--
Indeed it *has* been a long while since "the UW days", and I hope I haven't intruded. I just happened to run across a reference to your art, and couldn't resist reaching out to say that it's wonderful to see your fine work being so well appreciated in communities beyond atmospheric science!
All the best, Brad Smull
